Old Dominion Watchdog Reporter Tapped for Washington Post Local Blog Network
Washington, DC – The Washington Post has pulled together a group of independent bloggers from around the Washington metro to share their thoughts and insights on important local issues on WashingtonPost.com. Among the selected bloggers is Old Dominion Watchdog, Paige Winfield Cunningham, a Franklin Center networked journalists.

Paige Winfield Cunningham is an investigative reporter and managing editor at Old Dominion Watchdog, a project of the nonprofit Franklin Center dedicated to covering state and local government in Virginia. Her work has been carried by newspapers and Web sites including the Washington Examiner, the Drudge Report and National Review Online. She has appeared on Weekend Virginia on WVTF Public Radio and is a regular guest on the Schilling Show on 1070 WINA Newsradio.
Before launching Old Dominion Watchdog in October 2009, Paige was a reporter at the Naperville Sun in Chicago, and she has appeared on MSNBC and the Fox News Channel and reported from Washington.
Paige’s first column appeared this morning on Washington Post.com. Today’s column is on the desperate need for earmark reform in Washington. The Washington Post will be able to pull content from Old Dominion Watchdog as well as feature original editorials written by Paige.
