Bismarck, ND – Non-Profit journalists from around the country affiliated with the Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity will be heading to Massachusetts this weekend to cover the upcoming U.S. Senate Special Election. An initiative of the Franklin Center’s Watchdog.org, these journalists based at state-based think tanks and non-profit organizations, will be following the election to provide readers with another source of unbiased news content. Watchdog.org reporters’ content is partnering with correspondents from Washington News Alert and Washington News Observer to help cover the election process.
“This is an exciting time in non-profit journalism. These journalists will not only be providing original, unbiased reporting, but they will be giving their local readers on the ground coverage of this election,” said Jason Stverak, President of Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity. “Our goal is that our reporters will be a window into the election process in this important race. The Franklin Center looks forward to partnering with other news organizations in the future to continue providing the American people with more news content.”
Non-Profit journalists from all across the nation will help cover this race in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts leading up to Tuesday’s critical election. These reporters will be producing original news content that will be available to the mainstream media and bloggers at no cost.
